| Abstract/Notes | Forecasting and prospecting complexes (PPC) are proposed for three leading groups of geological and industrial types of gold ore and gold-silver deposits (in terrigenous complexes of mobile crustal belts, in volcano-plutonic belts and zones of tectonic-magmatic activation, in volcanogenic eugeosynclines), aimed at identification of deposits of precious metals. Examples of the use of complexes in various situations at various stages of the geological exploration process are given, their main and abbreviated versions are analyzed. The geological and genetic foundations of forecasting, prospecting and assessment are outlined based on the analysis of models of formation conditions for deposits of various types, taking into account their geotectonic position, metallogenic and formational affiliation. Rational methods have been identified to ensure the identification of targets at each stage of exploration. Some issues of creating forecast-prospecting-assessment systems for leading geological and industrial types of precious metal deposits are considered, allowing for effective acceleration of solving problems at various stages of the geological exploration process. The book is intended for production geologists and scientists conducting forecasting, prospecting and evaluation work in deposits of precious metals. | ||
