Abstract/NotesThe first part of the publication presents a clear and very brief characteristic of the geological conditions of the local deposits, a list and description of known minerals. The composition of rarer minerals was determined by an electron microanalyzer (microprobe) at the joint workplace of the Institute of Geological Sciences of Masaryk University and the Czech Geological Survey in Brno. The determination of some minerals was verified by X-ray diffraction, mainly at the Mineralogical and Petrological Department of the National Museum in Prague. The contents of silver and gold in selected ore samples were determined in the Gematest sro laboratory in Černošice. The minerals presented without the owner mentioned in the photo description come from the collections of the Mineralogical and Petrographic Department of the Moravian Museum (MZM), Brno. The second part of the work is a kind of topographical and historical journey through the local ore districts and through isolated, gradually disappearing localities that played a smaller or larger role in history.
