Abstract/Notes A new genus and species of edentulous frog, Theatonius lancensis, from the Upper Cretaceous Lance Formation, Wyoming, is described. In addition to possessing an edentate maxilla, T. lancensis has a characteristic beaded ornamentation on known bones of the dermal skull. Familial relationships of T. lancensis are uncertain.
