| Abstract/Notes | The orientation of quartz c-axes has been determined in a shear zone developed in amphibolitized metagabbro. Contrary to previously published data the quartz shows no preferred cyrstallographic orientation. This study underlines the importance of proper sample selection when collecting orientation data. |
