Abstract/Notes | Recent palynological, megafaunal, and intrusive evidence from a section low in the Skonun Formation in the Cinola deposit on Graham Island indicates that it was deposited in the late Early Miocene, and that the age of the Skonun ranges up to the early Middle Miocene in outcrop sections on northeastern Graham Island. Correlations are made with several Miocene series of the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. |
