Abstract/Notes | A Hirnantia fauna is recorded for the first time from Anticosti Island, situated 6 m below the beds interpreted here as representing the maximum regression at the eastern end of the island, the latter coinciding with the local top of the revised Ellis Bay Formation. The Ordovician–Silurian boundary on the island is discussed. |
