Abstract/Notes | A newly discovered Oncograptus upsilon fauna occurs in a sequence of turbiditic siltstones within the Lower Ordovician Ste-Anne River nappe in the Gaspé area of Quebec. This is the first discovery of true Yapeenian graptolites within the Canadian Appalachians. The fauna consists of O. upsilon, several subspecies of Pseudisograptus manubriatus (P. m. harrisi, P. m. janus, P. m. koi), and a variety of associated species. |
